Casa El Quijote
San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
This lovely four bedroom, three and a half bath house including casita, has just been redone in 2005 by owner Robert H. Glaze, with influences from India, Thailand and of course, Mexico. Glaze has traveled the world to decorate this house with a colonial feel. The house also includes his private collection of art and folk art by local San Miguel and other Mexican artists. The house is located in Ojo de Agua, just south of Juarez Park and is a 15 minute, flat walk into town. You get the luxury of being close, but the serenity of being removed from the hustle and bustle of the historical district.
The house is south of Parque Juarez and is a 15 minute walk to the Jardin. It is at the corner of Canadita de los Aguacates, Callejon del Quijote and Ojo de Aqua.
